Greetings from The Courteous New Yorker

Hi there and welcome to my blog.
I would suspect that you must be quite bored to read something as esoteric as this. Thank you nevertheless.
Here I plan on writing about things related to being a New Yorker, living in New York, and some of the "rules of etiquette" that I feel one should have to make this amazing city just that much better.
Some of the posts will be raves about things that make New York great. Others will be rants about things or people that tarnish this great city. Others will be lists of rules that it seems that some forget too many times over.

This will be a forum for discussion, but as with any blog, the owner has the say of what gets to stay in the comments and what doesn't. I don't mind discourse at all, but if it gets to a point where it's nasty for anyone in the discussion, well, that's grounds for a comment removal.

So sit back, relax, read, and participate. If you read too much and fall asleep, it's okay. I probably won't notice.
